November 7, 2016: It was the HMAS last night. Blondedy Ferdinand, of the HMI’s hottest actress, was nominated and won a big one for the industry. She was nominated for the Best Actress category and won among the three other nominees as we expected. Ferdinand gave God all the credit and thanked her family and the people who help made this day possible. Here’s Ferdinand in her acceptance speech:
“God is good [all the time], All the time [God is good]. Thank you very much. This is for every person that told me that I couldn’t do this. This is for every woman who doesn’t believe in their selves. This is for every person that tells you, you can’t do this. But let me tell you, you need to tell them one thing, yes I will, yes you can, and the only reason why is because God is on your side. That’s why I’m standing here tonight. I wanna thank my mother for being here with me tonight, I wanna thank my family, my husband, my two children. I had to leave them for 3 weeks, to be in Florida to film this movie and my director who is my best friend, TuTu. You told me that I will get this and I’m here tonight, I’m getting it. Thank you very much to all my friends, my supporters, thank you to you guys very much, I love you guys. To this organization, thank you for this, I love this. Thank you guys!”
