December 6, 2016: Compas drummer and singer Black EZ lost his life. We have confirmed his death. Black EZ had a great personality for the musical world. He was a singer, an animator and a drummer of many groups. He was also a very funny comedian.
Born Vilaire Jean Dahnis, a former member of many groups including Nou Krezi, Mass Kompa and Bel Plezi. Based on the information we received, EZ died of a stroke. He was pronounced dead at the Peace Hospital.
