Candidate for Haiti’s president Moise Jean-Charles reportedly in fear for his life
Platform ‘pitit Desaline ‘ presidential candidate and former senator Moise Jean Charles reportedly calling a local radio station to say he was concerning about his safety.
Overnight this morning, lots of Port-au-Prince residence heard gun shots all across the city including Charles who was inside his house at the time. In a phone interview with Radio Caraibes Fm, Charles expressed his fear for his life. “I am really affraid,” Moise Jean Charles said, “I have never been this affraid before. Last night for almost one hour, people were standing in front of my house shooting. Police had to itervene.”
When asked if his home had been hit and have bullet holes if the media come take a look, Charles replied “No, they were shooting in the air”.
