Jazz singer of Haitian origin, Cecile McLorin Salvant won the Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album

Her second album, “For One To Love” received very good ratings from the American and European music critics and earned her the biggest prize of American music.

Cecile, daughter of a Haitian father  and mother of Guadeloupe won her first Grammy but is her second nomination for a Grammy. Her first album “WomanChild” released in 2014 is a classic of contemporary Jazz.

Since that first project, Cécile has become one of the great figures of world contemporary Jazz. This Grammy consolidating its new position figurehead of world jazz.

Cecile, who visited Haiti and played for the Jazz Festival claims her [haïtienneté]. Last year she had a concert in Petionville Haiti.
